Viowiess Co Acquires Kaleidoscope Ceramics for 3D Printed Ceramics Expansion
KLAMATH FALLS, OR May 1, 2021. Viowiess Co, a US-based additive manufacturing startup, has acquired Kaleidoscope Ceramics.
Included in the acquisition are over 3,000 slip molds as well as several large pieces of mixing, pouring, and firing equipment. Viowiess Co plans to digitize the molds into a private archive supporting our mission to preserve manufacturing arts. We are assessing mass production of a limited number of home and garden ceramics based on Kaleidoscope’s designs.
The acquisition primarily supports Viowiess Co’s entry into the 3D-printed ceramics and aggregates sector. Production slip equipment will be integrated into the 3D-printed ceramics workflow.
