Viowiess Co Featured in Strad Magazine

The Strad article explores how 3D printing technology is used to create a better sounding orchestral mute by weaving air into a traditionally solid accessory. The patterned placement of a 3D printed reverberating mesh within the mute allows for more overtones to remain while the volume of the instrument is reduced.

The patented acoustic printing technique is integrated into all Viowiess Co orchestral and practice mutes and offers a new lease on life for the 70 year old traditional rubber mute.
