The Viowiess Co 3D Art project explores using 3D printers to create detailed 2D imagery. The wall hangings pictured below are created from hand-drawn line art translated into machine code. The code is then printed using a fused deposition modeling printer. The printer is manually fed with different colored materials during the printing process to create the desired multicolor effect.
